Tiger Creek is on Animal Planet

2002 was a fateful year for Tiger Creek. That's when two newborn Siberian cubs came to live with us.

Animal Planet got involved in following the first year of life of our cubs by filming Growing Up Tiger.

In the Spring of 2002 Great Cats of Indiana adopted a female Siberian by the name of Kendra. Little did anyone know Kendra was cooking up some little cubs. A few weeks after arriving Kendra started to behave oddly. Rob, the owner of Great Cats, didn't believe she was old enough to give birth so that couldn't have been the reason. Could it?

Kendra gave birth to four cubs. Their average weight was 1.5kg at birth. Rob could only keep two, and when he called we weren't about to turn down the other two. Off to Indiana we went. And here to Tiger Creek came the film crew from Arden Entertainment to document the first year of life, discovery and growing pains of the two cubs that came to be known as Sarge and Lily.

The Animal Planet documentary Growing Up Tiger first aired on August 9, 2003. Sarge has had the big head ever since. These two adorable cubs have dazzled people from around the world both on TV, and in person. If you're not careful Lily will capture your heart, and Sarge will stop you in your tracks with his majestic looks. All our cats are stars in our book, but Sarge thinks he's really something. Ok, yeah. He is.
